Wordless Wednesday

It is my birthday today. A grey morning, a rainy afternoon, and an even wetter evening. This morning I set about to make this quick carrot and ginger pickle from Kirsten Day’s In a Pickle, as a break from the jigsaw/watching cooking videos on YouTube/general loafing. Then went out for lunch, made a cake, and had dinner with friends….so here is my Birthday Wordless Wednesday…
