This week’s small pleasures: the Melbourne edition

This weekend saw us fly over The Ditch (as the Tasman Sea is affectionately known) for a mini break to Melbourne.

This week’s small pleasures #147

Here we are again, Monday evening, and a time for a round up of this week’s small pleasures. I missed The Propagator’s Six on Saturday this week as we were away for the weekend, but could not resist heading up this post with a photo of another of the miniature daffodils that have flowered and make our terrace look like spring.

Museums, monuments and moments in Brisbane

This final post focussed on our trip to Brisbane includes museums, galleries, monuments and statues…a bit of a miscellany of things to see and do. It is by no means a comprehensive guide, just a few random things to see in Brisbane.

A townscape of water and bridges

It seems to have become a bit of a habit to hop over the ditch to Australia at the start of January. We add some days on to Christmas, and head over for a city break and a bit of heat (although while we were away this time, Wellington had some lovely weather). This year took us to Brisbane – my first trip though Karl had been before for a work.
