Wordless Wednesday: Trees

For this week’s Wordless Wednesday post, the focus is on trees. To be precise, trees in autumn in the Botanic Gardens, during my lockdown walks.

The gnarled shapes of a tree trunk
Varieties of pine and a cabbage tree against blue skies
A face on the trunk…
Autumnal walk

The old oak tree, propped up by a post and resting on the fence

Leaves to kick

  1. Lovely pictures! A little exercise I like to do is to sit and observe the different colours of the leaves and actually count them. It is amazing how many different shades of green you can count!

      1. What a great name! Tane, the god of forest and birds. Lots of potential for a fantasy story, that’s for sure. Ever give that kind of writing any thought?
