How many of you are sticking with your resolutions? I’m sure many of you are, and no doubt some of you aren’t. I didn’t make any this year, but have promised myself to learn something new each month. This of course can vary with mood, weather and practical stuff like travel.
So in January, I decided to get a grip on some simple meditation exercises. I downloaded the Headspace app, and have found it excellent. Just ten minutes at a time to focus your breath, listen to a peaceful voice and recalibrate your thoughts. I find if I can wake up before the alarm, this is a good time, otherwise, straight after I come home from work. I am definitely going to continue with it too, so success for my first goal!
So for February, I am going to try some vegan baking. I hope I will have some time for this, but as I forgot to make a cake for my dear husband on his name day, I will definitely be baking this weekend. Hope he won’t mind the experiment!
