It’s the summer solstice, the longest day here in the Southern Hemisphere. It was a beautiful start to the day here, though it has clouded over a bit this evening, Here are some (more) summer pictures, which I hope those of you faced with snow and cold weather will enjoy, and bring you hope of better weather to come (and remember, when you are in the sun, we are in the rain). The featured image at the top is from my walk to work through the Bolton Street Cemetery. Below are some of the wonderful hydrangeas around just now and another picture from this morning.

Tomorrow is my last day at work for two and a half weeks and I can hardly wait for the holidays. Only two more blogmas posts to go….as I won’t be blogging on Christmas Eve.
