Tuesday evening, New Zealand, and time for this week’s Cee’s Challenge. Thanks again!
If you were given a boat or yacht today, what would you name it? (You can always sell the yacht later)
It’s is so funny that this question came up today. I have a former student staying with me for a couple of days, and she has just done an amazing sailing trip across the Pacific Ocean. If I were given a boat today, I would pass it on to her to enjoy and look after. Her nickname is Floating Folly, so that is what I would name the boat. Otherwise, True Love, after the boat in the film High Society, and to remind me that on this day eighteen years ago I met my husband for the first time.
Name a song or two which are included on the soundtrack to your life?
Now, if ever there was an impossible question, this is it. Whatever day you ask me, I’ll give you a different answer. Today I will pick Sunshine on Leith, since that is where I grew up. You probably all know The Proclaimers version, but this link will take you to the fans of Hiberian football club singing it. The club’s grounds are near my childhood home.
