A couple of days later than usual as I was up in Hamilton again and this is the first chance I’ve had to answer the challenge questions this week. Thanks Cee yet again.
Are you usually late, early, or right on time?
If you were or are a writer do you prefer writing short stories, poems or novels?
I would rather write non-fiction, which is really peculiar as when I was younger I yearned to write fiction. But to answer the question – novels.
Where did you live at age ten? Is it the same place or town you live now?
Leith, Edinburgh. No as you can tell if you read this blog! I love living in Wellington, New Zealand. It is quite a special place.
Would you rather be able to fly or breathe under water?
I guess fly. Would save money on flights!
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week,
Tough one! I had another trip up to Hamilton, and got a small chance to breathe in fresh air. The grounds of the institution I was visiting were full of flowers.
Hidden among the ferns
I also spotted a piece of waste land that had been turned into a garden space. Apparently, the ground is supposed to be used for a new teaching block, but the gardeners have created a little space of wonder. The ‘cone’ on the left is surrounded by flowers, and there is a stone spiral and other fun things.
and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
The weekend! It is the Labour Day weekend here, a spring holiday weekend. We’re off on travels, so next post will probably be delayed a couple of days.
