Cee’s Challenge: Week 38

It’s cold and wet in Wellington, not at all like spring, though the flowers are out and the birds definitely know the warmer weather and brighter days are just hiding behind those grey clouds.  So, on this Tuesday evening, as I sit with my cup of green tea, it is time to turn to Cee’s Challenge for this week.

What do you do to make a living or during the day if you are retired.  If you are a student what are you studying?

I’m a civil servant at the moment, but most of my working life was spent teaching in the tertiary sector, and I miss it.

Have you ever participated in a distance walking, swimming, running, or biking event? Tell your story.

No – never and wouldn’t either.

What is usually your first thought when you wake up?

Hmm…tough one…either ‘what’s the weather going to be today?’ or ‘eugh…..’ or ‘hoorah it’s the weekend’.

Complete this sentence: Look out behind you, it’s a …

…large bird.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week,

It was lovely to see Charlie 2 return last night as I mentioned in yesterday’s post. He was also round this morning, but haven’t seen him yet.  Also grateful to have had a quiet weekend.

and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I’m looking forward to Friday and our 11th wedding anniversary.
