I’m a day late as last night we went to a pub quiz. We usually do quite well, but this time luck was against us (or maybe it was the questions – a round on the Rugby World Cup history for example!).
Anyway, thanks to Cee as usual and also thanks to Wanderings of an Elusive Mind for some great answers.
What are some words that just make you smile?
Really tough one! Bee, kitten, holidays, home……well, today’s choice!
You’re given $500,000 dollars tax free (any currency), what do you spend it on?
A holiday or trip – no question about it.
What subject would you like to study in depth, if given the time to do so?
Interesting, as I am vaguely contemplating studying something again. However, as this is an abstract question, I am going to say cooking/food science.
Would your rather be stuck in a small plane with bad turbulence for 2 hours or be a passenger in a car racing the Daytona 500?
Well, living in New Zealand, the former is not uncommon (well, an hour at least), so I am going to say the turbulence. I think I would be far too scared to do the latter!
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week,
We had a lovely weekend which included a visit to Beervana. And yes Lillie-Put, we also went to Makara Beach which I featured in my last Cee’s Challenge post! My step son also got to Denmark safe and sound.
Makara Beach, Sunday
and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
The weekend….as we are going away for a couple of days. Also, spring is in the air. We even saw lambs on Sunday.
Botanic Gardens in Wellington
PS – I’m not sure if I’ve posted pictures on the blog of all the Lord of the Rings things at Wellington Aiport, but here’s Smaug who looks at all the people checking in.
Any problems checking in? Ask a dragon
It was fun reading your responses and seeing your photos. Thanks.
Thanks for the mention. The words that make you smile made me smile this morning!
