Share Your World: Week 18

So it is time for Cee’s Challenge once again!  Fun questions yet again.

What type of pets do you have or want?  Or do you not want pets?

A cat, or even two cats.  Since moving to New Zealand, we have had a number of visiting cats.  Long standing readers of this blog will remember Misse Moj, who sadly disappeared in June last year.  Neither we nor his real ‘parents’ ever managed to trace him. He was the most gorgeous cat with a great personality and is sorely missed.

He was replaced by Charlie, whose owners moved house just before Christmas. He used our house as his sleeping quarters.

There are some other neighbourhood cats, Bodie who lives next door who sometimes ventures round our way, and sometimes stops to chat and a large, black fluffy one who can be friendly.

What was or is your favorite cartoon?

I wasn’t really into cartoons.  I guess ‘Noggin the Nog’, a British series from the distant past.

When you’re alone at home, do you wear shoes, socks, slippers, or go barefoot?

Depends on the weather.  In winter I wear old trainers/summer shoes indoors. I hate being barefoot in the kitchen!

Are you a traveler or a homebody?

I love to travel and I have a long list of places I would love to go to.  However, it is nice to come home too.  I never felt at home in the years we lived in Copenhagen in contrast to New Zealand, so coming back here is quite different to arriving back in Denmark.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week,

That we had good weather at the weekend (see the last post).

and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Apart from the weekend?  Well, I can’t say I am looking forward to the chiropractor, but it will be good to see him again and see what can be done about my shoulder.  Also another two Xtend Barre classes and Pilates.
